How We Transformed Bakkerij Amstelveld’s Ordering Workflow
Bakkerij Amstelveld used to handle a large part of daily orders by phone. Customers called in, messages stacked up on the answering machine, and the team manually transferred every order into a list before planning delivery routes. It worked — but it was slow, error-prone, and far from scalable.
We built a custom online ordering portal that completely redesigned this workflow. Customers can now log in, select their products, choose a delivery date, and place their order in seconds. All incoming orders automatically flow into a central dashboard for the bakery, which is directly connected to their daily delivery routes. Every morning, the system also sends an automated email summary, giving the team a clean, ready-to-use order list for the day. The ordering data is also fully integrated with the bakery’s bookkeeping system, making it easy to import orders directly into their financial administration.
